I thought it would be fun to discuss one of my absolute favorite book series (besides Harry Potter of course), the Tiger’s Curse series by Colleen Houck.

Tiger's Curse (The Tiger Saga, #1)

I discovered this gem several years ago and have been obsessed with the series ever since. I think a good way to introduce you to the series is to include the summary on good reads which is:

Passion. Fate. Loyalty.

Would you risk it all to change your destiny?

The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought she’d be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse. With a mysterious white tiger named Ren. Halfway around the world. But that’s exactly what happened. Face-to-face with dark forces, spellbinding magic, and mystical worlds where nothing is what it seems, Kelsey risks everything to piece together an ancient prophecy that could break the curse forever.

Tiger’s Curse is the exciting first volume in an epic fantasy-romance that will leave you breathless and yearning for more.”

Tiger's Quest (The Tiger Saga, #2)

It definitely left me wanting more and come on, you have to admit the description sounds intriguing! This series is an adventure romance fantasy novel (my three favorite elements!) that features a young female protagonist named Kelsey Hayes who gets swept away on an epic journey after taking a temporary job at the circus.

The series is composed of (thus far) four books, named Tiger’s

Tiger's Voyage (The Tiger Saga, #3)

Curse, Tiger’s Quest, Tiger’s Voyage and Tiger’s Destiny. Though these books have been out for a while, I don’t want to give away any spoilers; however, I will say that each book describes an increasingly more stunning and extraordinary journey in order to break a centuries old curse.

Tiger's Destiny (The Tiger Saga, #4)

The level of imaginative writing, and heart breaking and heart warming turmoil has me hooked and obsessed with this series.

I have been fangirling over these books for years and they are my number one recommendation for anyone looking for an emotional and beautiful tale. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve reread them; actually I’m rereading them right now! Why am I rereading and discussing a book series that has been out for a while besides the fact that I just totally love them? Well I’m writing this post because there is a FIFTH BOOK coming out this upcoming 20th!! I am so thrilled that a 5th and final book to the series is becoming a reality!! It is called Tiger’s Dream and it sounds like it is bound to be a wonderful conclusion to the series.

Tiger's Dream (The Tiger Saga #5)

The good reads summary of the fifth book may give away spoilers to the entire series, so I won’t post it but I do encourage you to check it out! I haven’t been this excited in a long time about a book release and I am dying to get my hands on it!!! In preparation for the release, I’ve been rereading the series and am about to finish up the first book – I’m more than confident that I’ll be able to finish the series in plenty of time. And for any bookworm (a worm sounds so odd…with the ferocity of which we consume books, we’re more like dragons. Book dragons!) who would like to check the series out, I have little doubt in their ability to read all four books within, what, 4 days? Does that sound about right?

Even though I could go on for ages, I sadly will end my post here and encourage anyone who thinks they might be interested to check this series out! I would love to hear from anyone else who has read the series on their thoughts, and to anyone who hasn’t yet, what are your favorite books and why? I’d love to check them out! I’d also love it if you checked out my social media and followed me for future book related posts, rants and reviews! Have a wonderful day all my fellow book dragons and good hunting!
